The beautiful Chicago skyline, as seen from Grant Park, in the Petrillo Music Shell field.
Technical: 4 horizontal shots at 28mm (43.7mm effective) f/5.0 with my Canon 20D from tripod, stitched with equirectangular projection using manually-selected control points. Shot at 9:00pm on 10/9/2006. Yes, I know there are streaks in the lights. The weather was very cool and damp, and my lens kept fogging up. Sue me.  I don't think it detracts from the image; I rather like the way it looks anyways. |
